Position Summary

 

PuraCap Pharmaceuticals is an exciting, growing company with an established footprint in the manufacture and distribution of OTC pharmaceutical products as well as topical prescription medications.  PuraCap is looking to build on its current success by establishing an extensive business alliance designed to launch, distribute and manufacture generic pharmaceuticals effectively, smoothly and profitably.  This is an exciting green field opportunity for a creative business leader, skilled at developing and sustaining strategic business relationships and capable of tackling distribution related business challenges at both the product and corporate level.

 

A.   Major Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Support the EVP S&M for new products and business as they relate to developing generic business alliances;
  • Define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions;
  • Locate or process potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discover and explore opportunities to be derived from strategic partnerships and implement critical distribution networks
  • Create and execute a sound commercial strategy and vision to establish the generic pharmaceutical sales and communications platform necessary to build revenue

 

 

B.   MINIMUM/ PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:                      BA Required; MBA Preferred
Experience:  -  10 years broad experience in pharmaceutical industry  and a minimum of at least 5 years of experience within   Generic Pharmaceutical market with emphasis on sales, business alliances, M&A and negotiations-       Experience in negotiating collaborations on behalf of small, medium to large pharmaceutical companies

-   Thorough knowledge of drug discovery, “high science”, development marketplace

 

Additional Skills/Knowledge:  -       Excellent ability to analyze  and create solutions for company that will enhance revenue / profit

-       Proactive; highly motivated

-       Demonstrated leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills

-       Documented record of performance and achievement and key relationships within pharmaceutical industry
