POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior Director of Supply Chain – Epic Laurelton, NY
Position Summary :
As the SD of Supply Chain for the Epic site-the incumbent is responsible for Planning, Procurement and Warehouse operations. They will lead the S&OP process for the site and serve as the key lead for the MPS. They are the key interface to our CMO customers and internal marketing team. Ensure continuous improvement of our SC processes to achieve a flexible cost effective supply chain to meet/exceed demand and quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Supply Chain organization, systems and activities to meet New products launch deadlines and ensure world-class standards of Customer service.
- Establish the dashboard metrics and KPI’s to manage the S&OP process using world class industry standards and provide guidance to setting Corporate policy
- Implement the MPS module into ERP using rough cut capacity tools and provide leadership and guidance to SC team on developing and reporting MPS , Production adherence and inventory targets on a monthly basis to the Executive committee
- Implement Vendor management program and guide the Procurement department to establish and control KPI’s according to SA and QTA’s
- Establish strategic direction to Warehouse operations to gain efficiencies in operations using ERP and Barcoding
- Ensure all departmental goals are aligned with the Site Strategic plan and meet all business requirements including compliance and budgetary targets
Must have Skills and Competencies
- BS/BA in Supply Chain management, Industrial engineering or related fields such as Pharmacy, Engineering. MBA preferred
- Requires 15 plus years in industry with at least 5 years in Pharmaceuticals
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and oversite of a Supply Chain organization
- Strong Communicator with proven skills in team building, coaching and working in a regulated environment
- Excellent written and verbal skills -ability to present on behalf of SC at the executive level
